I am so sorry about John's death. I didn't know him well, but he was always a delight to visit with when I would run into you at Panera.
Connie and I was saddened to hear of the passing of John. He was always a pleasure to visit with as he was walking across campus or attending an event in the Student Union. He always had time for me. His students were proud to be in his classes and spoke very highly of his teaching methods. They knew that he cared about them. What a legacy. He truly did make the university a better place and he made us better people. The family will be in our prayers.
